Civil Resistance and Civil Disobedience

Global Research has an interesting article on Civil Resistance

First off is distinguishing between Civil Resistance and Civil Disobedience. Civil Disobedience is deliberately choosing to violate the law for the express purpose of challenging and in the hopes of changing those laws.

Civil Resistance on the other hand looks far more interesting. When engaged in Civil Resistance people are attempting to prevent the ongoing commission of international crimes. The citizen is acting with the intent to uphold the rule of law. The Civil Resister has the moral high ground. Another important concept here is the Common Law defense of "Necessity" which means the Civil Resister's actions are justified in order to avoid a greater injury.

For those that are impatient with the way things are Civil Resistance may be an interesting option. Follow the link above for more detailed information and have a conversation with a lawyer to see how these arguments would be interpreted by your local courts before planning any actions.

Remember; You are the leader you have been waiting for.
