Status Update from the United Nations Millennium Assesment Board
"The Millenium Assessment Board has involved the work of more than 1,360 experts worldwide."

"Each part of the assessment has been scrutinized by governments, independent scientists, and other experts to ensure the robustness of its findings."

"Human activity is putting such strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planet’s ecosystems to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted."
